Job Purpose
You will work closely with the Finance Team to process payments efficiently and accurately, while delivering a high level of customer service to clients and external sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicating with clients and external agencies by telephone in a professional and timely manner.
- Providing support and cover to other areas of the business when required.
- Ensuring full compliance with ISO27001 requirements at all times.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality in relation to all correspondence, documentation and communications.
- Carrying out any additional ad‑hoc duties as required by the business.
- Processing payments to clients and third parties accurately and promptly.
- Managing and maintaining daily work schedules to the best of your ability.
- Using written, electronic and verbal communication to chase overdue payments on a daily basis.
- Providing clients with clear and timely updates via email and telephone.
- Resolving file queries proactively to ensure cases progress smoothly to completion.
- Liaising with other departments when necessary to support efficient case handling.
Experience & Knowledge
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Strong organisational, administrative and time‑management skills.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A customer‑focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Ability to cope under pressure and remain calm in fast‑paced environments.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to use initiative within agreed boundaries, as well as work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisation and time‑management skills, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
